Hyvä pointti! Tässä todellakin nyt Suomi näyttää, kuinka hoitajiaan kohtelee, menee sit hyvin tai huonosti tämä homma. Nakyvyyttä tarvitaankin, olisi hyvä jos joku hoitajajärjestä jostakin maailmalta antaisi tukensa meille ja levittäisi sanaa, mikä meininki täällä on.

Mitähän mahtavat kollegat muissa maissa miettiä kuullessaan, että hoitohenkilöstön palkkataso on Suomessa noin 83% OECD-maiden keskiarvosta. 15%:n kuoppakorotus ei johda edes keskiarvoon asti. Tuskin ainakaan ahneudesta syyttävät.

Maailmalle levinneiden uutisten takia Suomi nähdään maana jossa terveydenhuolto ei pelaa, jouluajan Lapin matkoja aletaan peruuttamaan, turismi hiipuu.... Hyvä Suomi ja erityisesti Suomen hallitus. Onnittelen! Näin sitä pitää... Ja tätä ei kyllä voi hoitajien piikkiin pistää, niin makaa kuin petaa!

Ja lisäksi maailmalle selviää mihin perustuu suomalainen hyvinvointivaltio, naisten orjatyöolosuhteisiin sekä huonoihin palkkoihin. OECD -tilastoja katsotaan nyt muiden maiden Terveysministeriöissä ihan eri silmillä.

Financial Times: Finland suffers wave of strikes

Marja-Karina Koskinen, a leader of the nurses’ Union of Health and Social Care Professionals, said her members’ salaries had been abused as a result of a law that requires them to provide medical services even when on strike. Many nurses now had to work double shifts nearly everyday to make ends meet.

Hospitals are devising emergency plans to hire temporary workers and reschedule low-priority treatment ahead of the proposed November 19 resignation date.

“The government is saying we are threatening patients’ safety,” said Ms Koskinen. “Of course we are.”

The Finnish government declined to comment.

Thousands of nurses threaten with simultaneous notice/up to 650 euro more content in the month required

STOCKHOLM in Finland reaches the trade union for nursing for the sick personnel for a new means for the penetration of wage demands. For the only in March newly selected center right government under the liberal Prime Minister Matti Vanhannen becomes the conflict in wage negotiations the feuerprobe. It had promised to increase it with a choice victory the wages by stately 540 euro in the month. Now the trade union demands the redemption of this promise. It wants about 430 to 650 euro per month, to realize within the coming two and a half years.

Employers helping and helpless

The employers face threatened mass notice helpless. Helplessly they demand that each person employed submits itself personally a written notice of withdrawal. The trade union wants to send against it the lists of the notice-willing sisters and male nurses to the responsible personnel departments. The employers threaten besides that it will not give automatic resetting after completion of the conflict.

The work conflict is to be felt already now in the Finnish hospitals: The trade union forbade to its members carrying overtime out or applying on new places.

The state tries to mediate now between the parties to a wage agreement. Mediator Juhani Samonius wants to present now after numerous meetings with both parties to a wage agreement on 5 November a first offer. The time becomes limited.
